COP  ON SNOW TRAINING

Tonight (March 10) is the last night of training at COP.  There will be NO training at COP on Wednesday March 17 onward.  Sure sign the season is coming to an end.  Thank you to Chris, Jennie, Andrew and Dave for the excellent coaching this year.

COP DRYLAND TRAINING

The final night for COP dryland training will be on Tuesday March 16.
 
FERNIE SPRING BREAK TRAINING

With athletes from many towns in our club we have to deal with at least 5 school systems to try to coordinate our spring training schedule.  Needless to say  - it cannot be done.  We are therefore running Spring Break training every week.  Here is the Spring Break training schedule from this Monday March 15 until the closing banquet weekend on April 3.
 
Monday: 9 to noon
Tuesday: 9 to noon
Wednesday: No training
Thursday: 9 to noon
Friday: All day
Saturday: All day
Sunday: All day
 
FAST TROPHIES 

For all of those who won FAST annual trophies last year it is time to return them so we can prepare for this year’s awards on April 3.  PLEASE BRING YOUR TROPHIES TO THE BOTTOM LEVEL OF THE RACER’S HUT ASAP!!!
 
CLOSING THOUGHT 

The future success of the FAST club depends on a very healthy E1 program.  This program for 4 to 8 year olds is the foundation of our club.  We are looking very strong this year with almost 100 E1 racers.  Please spread the word to anyone you know with young children about the great fun and ski skills that these young athletes learn in our program.  Encourage them to sign up for next year.  Direct them to our web site at www.ferniealpineskiteam.ca.  I am happy to answer any questions they may have.  Our members are our best ambassadors.
