2011- 2012 FAST Registration
Hello everyone, I trust that you enjoyed a great summer. Yes, it’s time to register your kids in the FAST Program again!
We are working at making this as painless as possible, that said, please forgive me in advance for the long winded e-mail.
1. To register the athletes into their respective programs you must go to the FAST website at www.ferniealpineskiteam.ca .
You can either sign in (top right corner) or create an account if you have not already done so. Once you are into your family account follow these steps.
- Click “Programs”
- Select the appropriate program(s)
- Click “Sign up for this program”
Repeat for every athlete.

2. Waiver and Form requirements (please don’t shoot the messenger)
To put it in simple terms, you are required to sign a pile of waivers and additional forms.
Fast Waiver and related forms:
- FAST Waiver
- Drop-off waiver (E1 – E2 only)
- Alpine Canada Alpin (ACA) Registration Form
- FAST Code of Conduct
Please see attachments below for all 4 documents. You can also find these forms on our website. Kindly fill them out and bring them with you or mail them in. See “options” below.
RCR Waivers and related forms:
1. Event Waiver
2. Parental Consent Form
3. Rail/Ski-Cross waiver
4. Fernie Season Pass Waiver
All RCR waivers must be signed in the presence of an RCR staff member. If you are picking up your Fernie Ski Passes on a day other than October 22, please let them know that you are a FAST member and ask to fill out all the RCR Waivers and required Forms related to the FAST Program.
3. Options on how to get the Waivers and Forms signed in order to ensure your child is ready on the first day of his or her Program. Please note that you have to fill out all the forms for each child.
1. Come in person to the RCR Office on October 22nd – 1505, 17th Avenue SW, Calgary. (403) 254- 7669 between 10 am and 2 pm. This is the perfect opportunity for you to pick up your Fernie Ski Pass, and sign all RCR and FAST required documents at the same time. Done!
2. Drop by the SKI SWAP in Fernie on November 12. We will have all the FAST waivers and forms on-hand. We will also make sure that we have someone from RCR to help with their requirements (this will not include Fernie Ski Passes you must pick them up at an RCR location). Look for the FAST table at the Ski SWAP.
3. Print the attachments, fill them out and mail them to: Jacques Daigle | Attn: Fox Canda | Unit 113, 58 Aero Drive NE | Calgary, AB | T2E 8Z9
Don’t forget that in this case you will have to drop-in to an RCR location to get your pass(es) and fill out the FAST related RCR Waivers and documents.
4. If you don’t have all the waivers signed (FAST and RCR) on the first day of your child’s program, they will have to be filled out then and there - you want to avoid this chaos if at all possible!
